BBQ Sandwich Ingredients

Method

BBQ Sandwich Preparation

1

Prepare the Smoked Pork

If you haven't already smoked your pork shoulder, season it with salt and pepper, then smoke it at 225°F (107°C) for 8-10 hours until tender.

2

Chop the Smoked Pork

Once the pork is smoked, remove it from the smoker and let it rest for 15 minutes. Chop the pork into bite-sized pieces.

3

Mix with Barbecue Sauce

In a large bowl, combine the chopped smoked pork with the barbecue sauce. Mix until evenly coated.

4

Prepare the Coleslaw

In another bowl, combine the coleslaw mix with the coleslaw dressing. Toss until well mixed.

5

Assemble the Sandwich

Slice the sandwich buns in half. On the bottom half, add a generous portion of the BBQ pork mixture, top with coleslaw, and add a pickle slice.

6

Serve

Place the top half of the bun on the sandwich and serve immediately, or wrap in foil to keep warm.
