Instructions
Prepare the Dough
In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour and sugar. Gradually add water while mixing until a smooth dough forms.
Form Balls
Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Flatten each portion in your palm, place a teaspoon of red bean paste in the center, and carefully shape the dough around the paste to form a ball.
Coat with Sesame Seeds
Roll each ball in sesame seeds until fully coated.
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
Fry the Balls
Once the oil is hot, gently place the sesame balls into the oil. Fry until they are golden brown, about 4-5 minutes, making sure to turn them for even cooking.
Drain and Serve
Remove the sesame balls from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
