Prepare the Mushrooms
Clean the king oyster mushrooms and slice them into thick strips resembling chicken tenders.

Prepare the Breading
In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Heat the Oil
In a large frying pan or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Chik'n
Carefully add the coated mushroom strips to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Drain and Serve
Remove the fried chik'n from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot.
