Kale Verde Smoothie

Method

Kale Verde Smoothie

1

Prepare greens and fruit

Remove tough stems from the kale and pack 1 cup of leaves. Peel the banana and chop the green apple into chunks. Measure almond milk and yogurt.

2

Add kale, banana, apple, almond milk, Greek yogurt, lemon juice and honey to a high-speed blender. Add ice if you prefer a colder, thicker texture.

3

Blend on high until completely smooth, about 45–60 seconds. If too thick, add 2–4 tablespoons of almond milk and blend again. Taste and adjust sweetness with more honey if desired.

4

Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

Chocolate Luv Smoothie

5

If using a fresh banana, slice and add ice; if using a frozen banana, no ice is necessary. Measure cocoa, milk, nut butter, oats and sweetener.

6

Combine frozen banana, cocoa powder, nut milk, peanut or almond butter, oats and maple syrup in the blender.

7

Blend on high until smooth and creamy, 30–60 seconds. Pause to scrape the sides if needed. Add a splash more milk for a looser consistency.

8

Taste and adjust sweetness or cocoa level. Serve immediately, optionally topped with a dusting of cocoa or a few chopped nuts.

Pineapple Orange Smoothie

9

Measure pineapple, orange juice, yogurt, optional mango, lime juice and honey. If using fresh pineapple and you want a colder smoothie, add ice.

10

Place pineapple, orange juice, yogurt, mango (if using), lime juice and honey into the blender. Add ice if desired.

11

Blend until smooth, about 30–45 seconds. If mixture is too thick, add 1–2 tablespoons of orange juice and blend again.

12

Pour into a chilled glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge or orange slice if desired.

Peach Raspberry Smoothie

13

If using fresh peaches, pit and slice them; if frozen, measure directly. Measure raspberries, yogurt, and juice.

14

Combine peaches, raspberries, vanilla yogurt, orange or apple juice and honey in the blender. Add ice if using fresh fruit.

15

Blend on high until smooth, 30–50 seconds. If seeds from raspberries make texture too grainy, strain quickly through a fine-mesh sieve or blend longer with extra liquid.

16

Serve immediately with a few whole raspberries on top if desired.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

17

Hull strawberries and slice the banana. Measure milk, sweetener and vanilla.

18

Add strawberries, banana, milk, honey and vanilla extract to the blender. Add ice if you want a thicker, colder drink.

19

Blend until fully smooth, about 30–45 seconds. Adjust thickness with extra milk or a few more frozen berries.

20

Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

Berry Bliss Smoothie

21

Measure mixed berries, yogurt, oat milk or water, chia seeds and sweetener. If berries are fresh, add ice for chill.

22

Combine berries, yogurt, oat milk, chia seeds and honey in the blender.

23

Blend on high until smooth, 30–60 seconds. Allow to sit 1–2 minutes if using chia so they swell slightly and thicken the smoothie, then stir or blend briefly again.

24

Taste and adjust sweetness. Serve immediately.
