Cocktail
Chill glass
Place a martini or coupe glass in the freezer for at least 5 minutes, or fill it with ice water while you prepare the drink.
Mix
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz Cîroc Coconut Vodka, 1 oz Midori melon liqueur, 2 oz pineapple juice, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup if you prefer a slightly sweeter cocktail. Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup).
Shake
Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the exterior of the shaker becomes cold and slightly frosted. This chills and slightly dilutes the cocktail for balance.
Strain
Discard ice or water from the chilled glass. Double-strain the mixture into the chilled martini/coupe glass using a Hawthorne strainer and, if desired, a fine mesh strainer to remove small ice chips and pulp for a silky finish.
Garnish & Serve
Thread a maraschino cherry and a small pineapple wedge onto a cocktail pick or float a pineapple wedge on the rim and add a lime wheel for color. Place the garnish on the edge of the glass or rest on top of the drink.
Serve immediately while cold. Optionally, offer a short stirrer so the guest can adjust sweetness if desired.
