Method
Cocktail
Chill glass
Place a martini or coupe glass in the freezer for at least 5 minutes or fill with ice water while you prepare the cocktail to thoroughly chill.
Combine ingredients
Add the vanilla vodka (2 oz), Stirrings Ginger Liqueur (1 oz), and fresh strained lemonade (1 oz) into a mixing glass or cocktail shaker filled with 6 ice cubes. If you prefer a sweeter drink, add the optional 0.25 tsp simple syrup.
Strain and serve
Discard ice or water from the chilled martini glass. Fine-strain the cocktail into the chilled martini or coupe glass, pouring gently to maintain the clarity if stirred.
Garnish
Skewer a slice of candied ginger or a thin strip of fresh ginger peel on a cocktail pick and lay it across the rim or float on the surface as an aromatic accent.
Serving notes
Serve immediately while very cold. If you used a shaker, consider double-straining to keep the martini crystal-clear. Adjust lemonade or simple syrup to taste if you prefer more or less acidity/sweetness.
