Method
Berry Mojito Base
Prepare glass
Place the mint leaves in the bottom of a sturdy highball or Collins glass (reserve one sprig for garnish).
Add berries and sweetener
Add the raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and 0.75 oz simple syrup to the glass.
Muddling
Gently muddle the mint and berries together using a cocktail muddler or the back of a spoon. Press just enough to release berry juices and mint oils — avoid pulverizing the mint into bits. Aim for a lightly macerated mixture with visible berry juice (about 10–15 gentle presses).
Add lime and rum
Pour in 0.75 oz fresh lime juice and 2 oz Bacardi Silver rum. Give the mixture a gentle stir to combine and lift the muddled solids slightly so flavors integrate.
Finish & Serve
Add crushed ice to fill the glass about three-quarters full (approximately 1 cup).
Top with 2.5 oz club soda and gently fold the cocktail once or twice to combine without flattening the carbonation.
Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity if needed: add up to 0.5 oz extra simple syrup for more sweetness or 0.25 oz extra lime juice for more brightness.
Garnish with the reserved mint sprig (slap the sprig between your palms briefly to release aromatics) and a lime wheel on the rim. Optionally drop a few whole berries on top for visual appeal.
Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy.
