Garnish & Rim
Method
Rim & Prepare Glass
Rim the glass
Pour the Tajín onto a small plate. Run the lime wedge around the outer rim of a rocks or coupe glass to moisten. Dip the moistened rim into the Tajín, twisting to coat evenly. Set the glass aside.
Mix Cocktail
Fill a cocktail shaker with 1 cup of ice.
Add 2 oz blanco tequila, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, 0.5 oz agave syrup, 0.5 oz Chili Peppa Wata (or other chili pepper liqueur/syrup), and 0.25 oz orange liqueur (if using) into the shaker.
Dry shake (no ice) 5–8 seconds if you used syrup to integrate, then add ice and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the shaker is very cold and slightly frosted.
Garnish & Finish
Express a lime wedge over the drink and drop it in or set it on the rim.
Optionally float a thin slice of fresh chili or sprinkle a tiny pinch of Tajín on top for extra aroma and heat. Serve immediately.
