Wine & Serving
Chill or bring the bottle to the ideal serving temperature. For Meiomi Pinot Noir serve slightly below room temperature at about 55-60°F (13–15°C). If the bottle is refrigerated, remove it 20 minutes before serving to warm slightly.
If desired, decant the wine. Pour the bottle slowly into a decanter, stopping if you see sediment (more common with older bottles). Allow the wine to breathe in the decanter for 15–30 minutes; for younger wines like Meiomi this softens tannins and opens aromas.
Serve with the optional pairings arranged on a small board. Cut cheeses into slices, arrange cured meats, place fruit and bread/crackers alongside. Encourage guests to taste the wine before and after pairings to note flavor changes.
