Delicious tacos filled with blackened shrimp.
In a bowl, combine paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Toss the shrimp in olive oil, then coat evenly with the spice mixture.
Heat a skillet over high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the shrimp are cooked through and have a charred appearance.
In a separate pan, warm the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until soft and pliable.
Place a generous amount of shredded cabbage on each tortilla, followed by the blackened shrimp. Top with avocado slices, lime juice, and fresh cilantro. Add sour cream or yogurt if desired.
Serve the tacos immediately while hot, with extra lime wedges on the side.
