Brewing Process

1. Boil the Water

In a large pot, bring 500 ml of water to a boil.

2. Add Malted Barley

Once the water is boiling, add 100 g of malted barley and stir well. Allow it to simmer for 30 minutes.

3. Add Hop Pellets

After 30 minutes, add 10 g of hop pellets to the mixture and continue to simmer for another 10 minutes.

4. Cool the Mixture

Remove the pot from heat and let the mixture cool to around 25°C (77°F). This may take about 15 minutes.

5. Add Yeast and Sugar

Once cooled, add 5 g of yeast and 5 g of sugar to the mixture. Stir well to dissolve.

6. Fermentation

Cover the pot with a clean cloth and let it ferment at room temperature for 3 to 5 days.

7. Flavoring

After fermentation, add 1 tsp of lemon zest and 1 tsp of crushed coriander seeds for flavor.

8. Bottle the Lager

Transfer the mixture into sterilized bottles, leaving some space at the top. Seal the bottles tightly.

9. Carbonation

Let the bottles sit at room temperature for another 2-3 days to carbonate before refrigerating.

10. Serve

Refrigerate the bottles for at least 24 hours before serving chilled.
