Method

Cocktail

1

Prepare glass

Chill a copper mule mug (or highball glass) in the freezer for a few minutes or fill it with ice briefly, then discard the ice. This keeps the drink cold longer.

2

Fill the chilled mug with fresh cubed ice until nearly full (about 1 cup).

3

Pour 2 oz Ketel One vodka over the ice.

4

Add 1/2 oz fresh lime juice (about half a lime). If you prefer more tang, adjust to 3/4 oz.

5

Top with 4 oz Fever-Tree ginger beer. Pour gently to preserve carbonation.

6

Give the drink a gentle stir (1–2 strokes) with a bar spoon to combine vodka, lime and ginger beer without flattening the soda.

Garnish & Serve

7

Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge perched on the rim. If using, slap a mint sprig between your palms to release aroma and tuck it beside the lime.

8

Serve immediately with a short straw if desired. Encourage the drinker to squeeze the lime wedge into the drink for extra brightness.
