Cocktail Base
Chill glass
Place a chilled martini or coupe glass in the freezer for at least 5 minutes while you prepare the cocktail.
Combine ingredients
Add vodka (2 oz), green walnut liqueur (1 oz), chocolate liqueur (1 oz), heavy cream (1 oz), and simple syrup (0.25 oz) to a cocktail shaker.
Add ice and shake
Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until the outside of the shaker is well-chilled and the cream is nicely emulsified with the liqueurs.
Strain the cocktail through a fine strainer into the chilled martini or coupe glass to remove any tiny ice shards for a smooth, velvety texture.
Garnish
Prepare rim (optional)
If you want a cocoa rim, wet the edge of the chilled glass lightly with a little cream or simple syrup, then dip the rim into a shallow dish with cocoa powder (0.5 tsp) to coat evenly.
Finish and serve
Sprinkle grated dark chocolate (1 tsp) over the surface of the cocktail. Float one toasted walnut half on the surface or place it on the rim as a garnish. Serve immediately.
