If you prefer an extra-cold pour, place the glass in the freezer for 10–15 minutes or rinse it briefly with very cold water and shake out excess. If using ice, fill the glass with 1/2 cup ice, pour beer, then discard ice to avoid dilution.

Chill glass (optional)

Choose either Big Life™ Euro Lager or Big Life™ Amber Ale and decide whether to serve a 16 oz (16oz) or 22 oz (22oz) pour.

Select beer & size

Hold the glass at a 45° angle. If pouring from a tap, open the faucet fully and aim the stream to hit the side of the glass. If pouring from a can or bottle, tip the can/bottle to pour gently down the side. Fill until the beer reaches about 1 inch from the rim.

Tilt and pour

Straighten the glass upright when it’s roughly three-quarters full to allow a 1/2–1 inch head to form. For a slightly larger head (common with ales), allow up to 1 inch of foam. Close the tap or stop pouring once the desired head is achieved.

Straighten glass and finish

Wipe any drips from the rim with a clean cloth. Serve immediately with a napkin or coaster. If the glass was chilled with ice, remove the ice before serving to prevent dilution.
