1

Prepare glass

Choose a large wine glass or rocks glass. Fill the glass generously with ice cubes so the drink stays cold and maintains its effervescence.

2

Build the drink

Pour 3 parts Aperol over the ice first. This helps the Aperol sit slightly at the bottom for a pretty layered look before stirring.

3

Add Prosecco

Slowly pour 2 parts chilled prosecco into the glass. Pour gently down the side of the glass or over the back of a spoon to preserve bubbles and avoid excessive foaming.

4

Top with soda

Add 1 part chilled soda water as a final topper to bring a zesty, lighter finish.

5

Stir gently

Give the drink a gentle, brief stir (about 2–3 slow turns) with a bar spoon to integrate the ingredients while keeping carbonation. Avoid vigorous stirring to preserve bubbles.

6

Garnish and serve

Garnish with one fresh orange slice on the rim or floated in the glass. Serve immediately while chilled and fizzy.
