Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Brisket
Rinse the corned beef brisket under cold water to remove excess salt. Pat it dry with paper towels.
Prepare the Seasoning
In a large pot, add the water, garlic cloves, bay leaves, whole cloves, and black peppercorns. Stir to combine.
Cook the Corned Beef
Place the brisket in the pot with the prepared seasoning. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
Simmer
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover, and let simmer for about 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender.
Rest and Slice
Remove the corned beef from the pot and let it rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
