Still Water (Glass or Pitcher)

Method

Still Water (Glass or Pitcher)

1

Prepare glass or pitcher

If serving immediately, chill a glass briefly in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or use a chilled pitcher. This step is optional but improves perceived freshness.

2

Add ice (optional)

Place 3–4 ice cubes into the glass or fill the bottom of the pitcher with a small handful of ice if you prefer your water cold.

3

Pour water

Pour 1 cup of cold filtered still water into the glass (or fill the pitcher to desired volume). Pour gently to avoid splash.

4

Garnish (optional)

Float a thin lemon slice on top and add a fresh mint sprig for aroma. Do not muddle unless you want a brighter citrus/mint flavor.

5

Serve immediately. Refill as needed and keep remaining water covered and refrigerated.

Sparkling Water (Glass or Pitcher)

6

Chill bottle

Ensure the sparkling water is well chilled (ideally 38–45°F / 3–7°C). Chilled soda holds fizz better and tastes crisper.

7

Prepare glass or pitcher

Optional: chill the glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or use a chilled pitcher to preserve effervescence.

8

Add ice (optional)

Place 3–4 ice cubes into the glass. Note: ice can dilute the drink as it melts; skip ice if you prefer maximum fizz.

9

Pour sparkling water

Open the bottle carefully to preserve carbonation. Tilt the glass at a 45° angle and pour the chilled sparkling water slowly down the side to maintain bubbles. Pour 1 cup (or desired volume).

10

Garnish (optional)

Garnish with a lemon or lime wedge on the rim or a couple of thin cucumber slices in the glass for a subtle flavor note.

11

Serve immediately to enjoy peak effervescence. If storing an opened bottle, seal tightly and refrigerate to retain carbonation.
