Cook the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, carrot, and celery. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables soften.

Cook the Ground Beef
Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks (about 5-7 minutes).

Add Tomatoes and Seasonings
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

Simmer the Sauce
Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cook the Spaghetti
While the sauce is simmering, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Combine and Serve
Toss the cooked spaghetti with the Bolognese sauce. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese to taste.
