Pork Marinade Preparation
Prepare the Marinade
In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper. Mix until the sugar is dissolved.
Marinate the Pork
Add the pork shoulder to the marinade, ensuring it is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
Cooking the Pork
Cook the Pork
Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Place the marinated pork shoulder in a roasting pan with a lid. Roast for 3-4 hours, or until tender and easily shredded.
