Prepare Ice Cream
Scoop the Ice Cream
Choose your favorite flavor of ice cream (vanilla, chocolate, or coffee). Scoop 1 cup of the ice cream into a serving glass or bowl.
Prepare Espresso
Brew the Espresso
Grind 2 tablespoons of espresso coffee beans to a fine consistency. Use an espresso machine or a stovetop espresso maker to brew with 60 ml of hot water, extracting a shot of espresso.
Assemble Affogato
Pour the Espresso
Once the espresso is ready, pour it directly over the scooped ice cream in the serving glass or bowl.
Serve Immediately
Serve the affogato immediately while the espresso is hot, allowing it to melt into the ice cream slightly.
