Method
Preparation
Prepare the Meats
Season the brisket, pork ribs, and turkey with your choice of spices. Cook the brisket and turkey in a smoker or oven at 225°F (107°C) for about 4-6 hours until tender. Grill or bake the pork ribs for about 2-3 hours until they are cooked through and tender. Fry or bake the chicken wings until crispy.
Make the Cornbread
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter. Combine both mixtures and stir until just combined. Pour into a greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Serving
Assemble the Platter
On a large platter, arrange the cooked brisket, pork ribs, turkey, and chicken wings. Serve alongside coleslaw and baked beans. Cut the cornbread into squares and place on the side.
