Method
Prepare Glass
Sugar rim
Chill a coupe or martini glass in the freezer for a few minutes. Rub the lemon wedge around the outer edge of the glass opening (or the inner rim where you prefer the sugar). Pour the superfine sugar onto a small plate and gently dip/roll the moistened rim into the sugar to coat evenly. Set the glass aside.
Mix Cocktail
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice (about 6 cubes). Add 2 oz Absolut Vodka, 0.5 oz Noble Cut Orangecello (or other orange liqueur), 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.5 oz simple syrup into the shaker.
Shake vigorously for about 12–15 seconds until the shaker feels very cold and the outside is frosted. A vigorous shake aerates and slightly dilutes the cocktail to balance the bright lemon and alcohol.
Double-strain (using a Hawthorne strainer and fine mesh strainer if available) into the prepared chilled, sugared coupe or martini glass to remove ice shards and any pulp.
Serve
Serve immediately while cold. Recommend one cocktail per serving. Advise to drink responsibly.
