1

Chill glass (optional)

If desired, chill a large wine glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill it with ice while assembling ingredients to cool the glass.

2

Add ice

Fill a large wine glass generously with large ice cubes to the top. Using large cubes helps keep dilution minimal while chilling the drink.

3

Measure Aperol

Pour 3 tablespoons (about 1.5 oz) of Aperol over the ice. (Traditional ratio is 3:3:1 by volume Aperol:Prosecco:soda, but using 3 tbs is a convenient measure.)

4

Add Prosecco

Slowly pour 3 oz (about 90 ml) of chilled La Marca Prosecco into the glass. Pour gently to preserve the bubbles and to mix layers gradually.

5

Top with soda

Add 1 oz (about 30 ml) of chilled soda water to the glass. Stir gently once with a bar spoon or the handle of a spoon to combine — one or two slow turns is enough to integrate without losing effervescence.

6

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a fresh orange wheel on the rim or floated in the glass. Serve immediately with a straw or stirring stick if desired.
