Method
Preparation
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine gluten-free all-purpose flour, quinoa flakes, baking powder, salt, and ground flaxseed. Whisk together until evenly mixed.
Wet Ingredients
Combine Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together warm water, olive oil, honey (or maple syrup), and apple cider vinegar until well combined.
Combine and Bake
Mix Together
Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring continuously until a thick batter forms.
Shape the Toast
Spoon the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, forming rectangular shapes resembling slices of bread.
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing. Serve warm or toasted.
