Prepare Ingredients
Rinse the snow crab under cold water to remove any debris. Cut the andouille sausage into 1-inch pieces. Husk the corn and cut each ear in half. Wash the baby potatoes thoroughly.
Cooking
- 2
Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a rolling boil over high heat. Add the salt and 2 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning to the water.
- 3
Add Vegetables
Once the water is boiling, add the baby potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes.
- 4
Add Corn and Sausage
After 10 minutes, add the corn and the andouille sausage to the pot. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- 5
Add Snow Crab
Carefully add the snow crab to the pot and cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the crab is heated through and the shells turn bright red.
- 6
Add Aromatics
During the last 5 minutes of cooking, add the garlic cloves (smashed) and the remaining tablespoon of Old Bay seasoning to the pot.
- 7
Drain and Serve
Once everything is cooked, carefully drain the pot and transfer the contents to a large serving platter. Squeeze the lemon over the top before serving.
