Method

Preparing the Ingredients

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess fat. Once cooled, chop into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Boil the Eggs

In a saucepan, place the eggs and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 9-12 minutes. Remove from heat and place in ice water to cool. Once cool, peel and chop them.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Seafood

If using fresh lobster, shrimp, and crab, ensure they are cooked and chilled. Chop the lobster and shrimp into bite-sized pieces.

  4. 4

    Chop the Vegetables

Rinse and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Halve the cherry tomatoes, chop the red onion finely, and cut the avocado into cubes.

Making the Dressing

  1. 5

    Mix the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the white balsamic vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Assembling the Salad

  1. 6

    Combine the Ingredients

In a large salad bowl, layer the romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, avocado, red onion, bacon, hard-boiled eggs, blue cheese crumbles, and the seafood.

  2. 7

    Drizzle with Dressing

Drizzle the prepared dressing over the salad and gently toss to combine all ingredients.

  3. 8

    Serve

Serve immediately, garnished with additional blue cheese if desired.
