Pan Seared Atlantic Cod

Prepare the Cod
Pat the Atlantic cod fillets dry with paper towels. This helps achieve a nice sear.

Season the Fish
Sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly over both sides of the cod fillets.

Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Sear the Cod
Place the cod fillets in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Finish with Lemon and Parsley
Remove the cod from the skillet, drizzle with lemon juice, and garnish with fresh parsley.
Broiled Atlantic Cod

Prepare the Oven
Preheat the broiler to high and line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.

Place the Atlantic cod fillets on the baking sheet.

Spread the butter over the fish, then sprinkle salt and paprika evenly on top.
