Salmon and Shrimp

Brie Topping

Chardonnay Dill Butter Sauce

Method

Preparation of Salmon and Shrimp

1

Marinate Salmon

In a bowl, drizzle olive oil over the salmon fillets and season with salt and black pepper. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.

2

Prepare Shrimp

In a separate bowl, season the shrimp with a little olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Set aside.

Grilling

3

Grill the Salmon

Preheat the grill to medium heat. Place the marinated salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the salmon reaches your desired doneness.

4

Grill the Shrimp

In the last 3 minutes of grilling the salmon, place the seasoned shrimp on the grill. Grill for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.

Brie Topping and Butter Sauce

5

Add Brie Cheese

Once the salmon is nearly cooked, place a slice of brie cheese on top of each salmon fillet. Close the grill lid and let it melt for about 2 minutes.

6

Make Chardonnay Dill Butter Sauce

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Pour in the chardonnay wine and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes until reduced slightly. Stir in the fresh dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.

Plating

7

Serve

Place the grilled salmon on plates, top with grilled shrimp, and drizzle the chardonnay dill butter sauce over the top before serving.
