Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Batter

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

2

Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

3

Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; it's okay if there are a few lumps.

4

Add Chocolate Chips

Gently fold in the chocolate chips.

5

Cook the Pancakes

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or cooking spray. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.

6

Serve

Serve warm with maple syrup and whipped cream on top.
