Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Beef

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

2

Add minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, and salt. Stir for about 1 minute until fragrant.

3

Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 7-10 minutes.

4

Add the Beans

Drain the black beans and add them along with the refried beans to the skillet. Stir well to combine all ingredients.

5

Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 5 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

6

Assemble the Burros

Warm the flour tortillas in a microwave or on a skillet for a few seconds on each side.

7

Spoon a generous portion of the beef and bean mixture onto each tortilla.

8

Top with shredded cheddar cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and chopped green onions.

9

Roll and Serve

Roll the tortillas tightly to enclose the filling and serve immediately while warm.
