Method

Prep

1

Prepare fruit

Hull and quarter the strawberries. If using fresh peach, peel and slice, then cut a small piece for muddling or use 1 oz peach purée. Cube a small amount of watermelon and remove seeds if present.

2

Measure and chill glass (recommended: a Collins or highball). Fill glass with ice to chill while you mix.

Build & Mix

3

Muddle fruit

In a shaker or mixing glass, add the hulled strawberries, watermelon cubes, and the peach piece (or peach purée). Add the simple syrup and fresh lemon juice. Gently muddle 6–8 times to release juices and aromatics but avoid pulverizing into a puree.

4

Add spirits & aloe

Add Ketel One vodka (2 oz), floral liqueur (0.5 oz), and aloe vera juice (0.5 oz) into the shaker with the muddled fruit.

5

Shake with ice

Add a handful of ice (about 4–6 medium cubes) to the shaker. Shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds to chill and combine flavors.

Finish & Serve

6

Double strain

Discard ice from the chilled serving glass. Double strain the shaken mixture into the glass over fresh ice (use a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer) to remove solids and seeds for a silky texture.

7

Top with soda

Gently top the cocktail with 2 oz soda water to add effervescence. Stir once gently with a bar spoon to incorporate without losing bubbles.

8

Garnish and present

Garnish with a strawberry slice on the rim and a peach wedge on a pick; add an edible floral sprig if desired. Serve immediately.
