Method

Cocktail

1

Prepare Fruit & Mint

Hull and quarter the fresh strawberries. Measure the watermelon cubes and peach slices. Gently clap the mint leaves between your palms to release aroma; reserve a few leaves for muddling and a sprig for garnish.

2

Muddle

In a cocktail shaker or mixing glass, add the strawberries (3), watermelon (1.5 oz), peach (1 oz) and 4 mint leaves. Add the lemon juice (0.25 oz) and optional simple syrup (0.25 oz). Lightly muddle until the fruit is broken down and releases juice but not completely pulverized—aim for a pulpy puree.

3

Add Spirits & Aloe

Add Ketel One Vodka (1 oz), floral liqueur (0.5 oz), and aloe vera juice (0.5 oz) to the shaker with the muddled fruit. Fill the shaker about halfway with ice (or crushed ice) and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds to chill and integrate flavors.

4

Double Strain

Double strain the mixture into a chilled highball or Collins glass filled halfway with fresh ice (to remove pulp and seeds). Use a fine mesh strainer plus the shaker strainer for a smoother texture while preserving flavor.

5

Top with Soda

Top the strained cocktail with chilled soda water (2 oz). Gently stir once or twice with a bar spoon to combine without losing too much effervescence.

6

Adjust & Serve

Taste and, if needed, add up to 0.25 oz more simple syrup to balance acidity or up to 0.25 oz more lemon juice for brightness. Add remaining mint leaves as a light bruise on top to release aroma without bitterness. Garnish with a strawberry slice and a small mint sprig.

Garnish

7

Thread the strawberry slice onto the rim or place it on the edge of the glass. Add the mint sprig into the drink or clip it to the rim. Optionally slap the mint once more and tuck it into the glass so the aroma sits above the cocktail.
