Cold Coca‑Cola (single serving)
If making from concentrate style (homemade flavored soda, optional)
Method
Cold Coca‑Cola (single serving)
Chill glass (optional)
Place a highball or pint glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill with ice water while preparing to get the glass cold.
Fill the chilled glass with 6 ice cubes (adjust to preference).
Open a 12 fl oz bottle or can of chilled Coca‑Cola and pour slowly over the ice to preserve carbonation.
Serve with an optional lemon or lime wedge on the rim. Squeeze the wedge into the drink if desired for a citrus note.
If making from concentrate style (homemade flavored soda, optional)
Chill a glass and the carbonated water so the finished drink stays fizzy longer.
Fill the glass with 6 ice cubes.
Measure 1.5 tablespoons cola syrup or concentrate and pour it into the glass.
Slowly add 12 fl oz chilled carbonated water to the glass, pouring down the side to reduce foaming and preserve carbonation.
Gently stir once with a bar spoon to combine—do not over-stir to avoid losing bubbles.
Garnish with an optional lemon or lime wedge and squeeze if desired. Serve immediately.
