Fried Ice Cream Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

1

Prepare the Ice Cream

Scoop the vanilla ice cream into 4 equal balls and place them on a baking sheet. Freeze them for at least 1-2 hours until firm.

2

Prepare the Coating

In a bowl, crush the cornflakes until they are fine crumbs. In another bowl, mix together the flour, eggs, milk, sugar, and cinnamon to form a batter.

3

Coat the Ice Cream

Take the frozen ice cream balls out of the freezer. Dip each ball in the batter, ensuring it's fully coated. Then roll it in the crushed cornflakes until well-covered. Repeat for all ice cream balls.

4

Freeze Again

Place the coated ice cream balls back on the baking sheet and freeze for another hour to ensure they hold their shape.

5

Fry the Ice Cream

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry each ice cream ball for about 10-15 seconds until golden brown. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

6

Serve

Serve immediately topped with chocolate sauce and whipped cream as desired.
