Method
Crust
Preheat and prepare dough
Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat. Lightly flour a work surface with the all-purpose flour. Turn the pre-made pizza dough out onto the floured surface and gently press and stretch it into a 10–12 inch round, leaving a slightly thicker rim. If dough resists, let it rest 5–10 minutes and continue. Brush the outer rim lightly with the olive oil to encourage browning.
Par-bake crust
Transfer the stretched dough to a piece of parchment on a baking sheet or a pizza peel dusted with flour/semolina. Dock the dough lightly with a fork to prevent large bubbles. Bake on the preheated stone or baking sheet for 6–8 minutes, until the crust just begins to set and show tiny brown spots but is not fully browned. Remove from oven and keep oven on.
Spread & Topping Base
Prepare cream cheese layer
While the crust par-bakes, in a small bowl beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and slightly fluffy. This will be a thin, tangy counterpoint to the Nutella.
Apply spreads
When crust is warm but not piping hot, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the center of the crust leaving the oiled rim exposed. Warm the Nutella slightly (10–15 seconds in the microwave) so it becomes spreadable but not runny. Drop spoonfuls of Nutella on top of the cream cheese and gently swirl with the back of a spoon to create a marbled chocolate-hazelnut layer; alternatively, spread Nutella in a thinner even layer over the cream cheese if you prefer more chocolate coverage.
Fruit Toppings
Prepare fruit
Rinse all berries and pat dry thoroughly so they don't make the pizza soggy. Hull and slice the strawberries thinly. Halve any large strawberries or blackberries so pieces are bite-sized and distribute evenly.
Top the pizza
Arrange the strawberry slices, blueberries, raspberries, and optional blackberries over the Nutella/cream cheese surface. Place berries evenly so each slice will have a mix. Avoid piling fruit too thickly to keep the crust crisp.
Finish & Garnish
Final bake (optional) and garnish
If you like the fruit slightly warmed, return the pizza to the oven for 3–4 minutes — this gently warms the fruit and re-melts the Nutella a touch. For a fully fresh, cool topping, skip this step and proceed. Remove pizza from oven and transfer to a cutting board. Lightly dust the fruit and crust with confectioners' sugar, sprinkle lemon zest over the berries for brightness, and scatter fresh mint leaves. If desired, finish with a light drizzle of balsamic reduction for a sweet-acid contrast.
Slice and serve
Let the pizza rest 1–2 minutes so toppings settle, then slice into 6–8 wedges. Serve immediately.
