Falafel

Wrap Assembly

Method

Making Falafel

1

Prepare the Mixture

In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Blend until a coarse mixture forms. Add flour as needed to help bind the mixture.

2

Shape the Patties

Using your hands, form the mixture into small patties, about 1.5 inches in diameter.

3

Fry the Patties

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

Making Tzatziki Sauce

4

Mix Ingredients

In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, chopped dill, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well and refrigerate until ready to use.

Assembling the Wrap

5

Prepare the Wrap

Lay a tortilla wrap flat. Add a layer of mixed greens, followed by sliced tomato, and 2-3 falafel patties.

6

Add Tzatziki

Drizzle tzatziki sauce on top of the falafel.

7

Wrap it Up

Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it tightly from one end to the other. Cut in half and serve.
