- 1
Chill glass
Place a martini or coupe glass in the freezer for several minutes or fill it with ice water while you prepare the cocktail to thoroughly chill it.
- 2
Combine spirits and vermouth
In a mixing glass or cocktail shaker, add the Montgomery Distillery gin (2 oz), Montgomery Distillery vodka (1 oz), and Lillet Blanc (1/2 oz).
- 3
Add ice and stir
Add enough ice to the mixing glass to fill it (about 1 cup). Stir briskly for 20–30 seconds (about 20–30 full strokes) until well chilled and slightly diluted. If you prefer a slightly more aerated, colder drink, you may shake for 8–10 seconds instead, but classic Vesper is typically stirred.

Prepare the glass
If you used ice water to chill the glass, dump it now. Strain the chilled cocktail through a fine strainer into the chilled martini or coupe glass.
