Method

Preparing the Flatbread

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Oil the Flatbread

Place the flatbread on a baking sheet and brush both sides lightly with olive oil.

  3. 3

    Bake Flatbread

Bake the flatbread in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes until slightly crispy.

Cooking the Meats

  1. 4

    Cook Bacon

In a frying pan over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 5

    Cook Sausage

In the same pan, add the sausage and cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula.

Assembling the Flatbread

  1. 6

    Add Cheese and Meats

Remove the flatbread from the oven and sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly over the top. Add the cooked bacon and sausage on top of the cheese.

  2. 7

    Return to Oven

Return the flatbread to the oven for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Frying the Eggs

  1. 8

    Fry Eggs

In a non-stick skillet, fry the eggs sunny-side up to your desired doneness. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Making Hollandaise Sauce

  1. 9

    Prepare Sauce

In a double boiler or a heatproof bowl over simmering water, whisk together the egg yolks and lemon juice until thickened.

  2. 10

    Add Butter

Slowly drizzle in the melted butter while whisking continuously until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and cayenne pepper to taste.

Final Assembly

  1. 11

    Top with Eggs and Sauce

Remove the flatbread from the oven and top it with the fried eggs. Drizzle the hollandaise sauce generously over the top.

  2. 12

    Serve

Cut the flatbread into slices and serve immediately, enjoying your Hangover Flatbread!
