Method

Prepare the Croutons

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Cut the Bread

Cut the bread into small cubes, about 1-inch in size.

  3. 3

    Toss with Seasoning

In a bowl, combine the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt. Toss until evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Bake the Croutons

Spread the seasoned bread cubes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown, stirring halfway through.

Make the Caesar Dressing

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 6

    Mix Well

Whisk the ingredients together until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble the Salad

  1. 7

    Prepare the Lettuce

Wash and dry the romaine lettuce. Tear it into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.

  2. 8

    Add Croutons

Once the croutons are ready, add them to the bowl with the lettuce.

  3. 9

    Dress the Salad

Pour the Caesar dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine, ensuring that the lettuce and croutons are well coated.

  4. 10

    Serve

Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
