Cocktail
Method
Cocktail
Prepare the glass (optional)
If you prefer a salted or Tajín-rimmed glass, rub a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks or coupe glass, then dip the rim into coarse salt or Tajín to coat. Set the glass aside.
Combine ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz blanco tequila, 1 oz triple sec, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, 0.5 oz agave nectar, and 0.5 oz fresh orange juice.
Add ice and shake
Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup) and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds, until the outside of the shaker is very cold and slightly frosted.
Strain and serve
Double-strain (if desired) into the prepared glass over fresh ice (for a rocks glass) or neat into a chilled coupe. If you didn't salt the rim, you can serve with no rim seasoning.
Garnish
Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim. Optionally express a little lime oil over the drink before dropping the wheel in.
Serve immediately and enjoy responsibly.
