Method

Cocktail

  1. 1

    Prepare glass

Chill a rocks glass or coupe by filling it with ice and setting aside while you mix the cocktail.

  2. 2

    Muddle (optional)

If you want a more pronounced lychee flavor and texture, place 1 canned lychee (reserve one for garnish) in a mixing glass and gently muddle once or twice to release juices. Do not over‑mash — you only want to bruise the fruit.

  3. 3

    Combine ingredients

Add the Ritual Zero Proof Tequila (2 oz), lychee liqueur or lychee syrup (0.75 oz), fresh pineapple juice (1.5 oz), fresh lemon juice (0.5 oz), and agave syrup (0.5 tbs) into the mixing glass with the muddled lychee (if using).

  4. 4

    Add ice and chill

Fill the mixing glass or shaker with ice (about 1 cup) and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.

  5. 5

    Strain and serve

Discard the ice from your chilled serving glass. Double strain the cocktail into the glass (use a fine mesh strainer if you muddled lychee to catch solids). If you prefer, serve over fresh ice in a rocks glass.

Garnish & Finish

  1. 6

Thread the reserved canned lychee onto a cocktail pick and rest across the rim with a small pineapple wedge, or float the lychee in the drink. Slap the mint sprig lightly between your palms to release aroma and tuck it into the glass as a final aromatic garnish.

  2. 7

Serve immediately. Estimated serving: best enjoyed chilled and consumed within 10–15 minutes for optimal flavor.
