Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Bell Peppers

Chop the bell peppers into small pieces. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped bell peppers and sauté until they are soft, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

2

Prepare the Salmon

Pat the king salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season each fillet with salt and black pepper on both sides.

3

Sear the Salmon

In a separate skillet, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon fillets, skin-side down. Sear for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your desired doneness.

4

Combine and Serve

Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the heat. In a bowl, mix the sautéed bell peppers with the Tunisian harissa. Serve the seared salmon on a plate, topped with the stewed peppers and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro.
