Pureed garbanzo beans with lemon juice and tahini, served with pita bread or fresh veggies
In a food processor, combine the garbanzo beans, tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, ground cumin, and salt. Blend until smooth.
If the hummus is too thick, add water a tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
Taste the hummus and adjust seasoning with more salt or lemon juice as needed.
Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl and drizzle with additional olive oil if desired. Serve with pita bread or fresh veggies.
