Cocktail Preparation
Mixing the Cocktail
In a mixing glass, combine Ilegal Mezcal, elderflower liqueur, simple syrup, orange bitters, and grapefruit bitters. Fill the mixing glass with ice.
Stirring
Stir the mixture well for about 20-30 seconds until well chilled.
Straining
Strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass.
Garnishing
Garnish with a twist of grapefruit peel over the drink to release its oils.
Serving
Serve immediately and enjoy!
