Base Spirits & Liqueurs

Citrus & Sweetening

Fruit & Garnish

Method

Base Spirits & Build

  1. 1

    Muddle fruit

Place 4 fresh raspberries into a cocktail shaker. Add the lemon juice and simple syrup. Gently muddle 6-8 times just to break down the berries and release juice without pulverizing seeds.

  2. 2

    Add spirits

Add Grainger's organic vodka (2 oz), limoncello (0.75 oz) and framboise (0.5 oz) into the shaker with the muddled raspberries and citrus.

Shake & Strain

  1. 3

Add a generous handful of ice (about 1 cup) to the shaker. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker is cold.

  2. 4

Double-strain the contents into a chilled highball or Collins glass filled with fresh ice, using a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds and pulp.

Top & Garnish

  1. 5

Top the strained cocktail with 3 oz chilled prosecco, pouring gently to preserve effervescence. Give the drink one very gentle stir (1–2 rotations) to integrate.

  2. 6

Thread two fresh raspberries onto a cocktail pick and rest across the rim, or drop raspberries into the glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel on the rim.

Serve

  1. 7

Serve immediately while prosecco is fizzy. Recommend providing a straw for sipping and a small spoon for those who like to mash the berries further as they drink.
