Method
Cocktail

- 2
- 3
Add Prairie Organic Gin (2 oz), pink grapefruit cordial (0.75 oz), fresh lemon juice (0.5 oz), Ramazzotti Aperitivo Rosato (0.5 oz), orange blossom water (2 dashes), and honey simple syrup (0.25 oz) into a cocktail shaker.
- 4
Dry shake
Dry shake (shake without ice) vigorously for 10–15 seconds if using egg white to emulsify and create a silky texture.
- 5
Wet shake
Add ice to the shaker (about 1 cup) and shake hard for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty and well chilled.
- 6
Discard ice or water from the chilled glass. Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled coupe or martini glass using a Hawthorne and fine mesh strainer to remove small ice shards and any coagulated egg white.
Garnish & Finish
- 7
Express the oils of a pink grapefruit twist over the surface of the drink by pinching the peel skin-side down, then run the twist around the rim and drop it onto the surface or rest it on the glass edge.
- 8
Optionally float an edible flower or micro herbs gently on the foam for visual appeal.
- 9
Serve immediately. The cocktail should be served up (no ice) and enjoyed while cold.
