In a large pot, bring 400 ml of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the barley malt and roasted barley. Stir well and let it steep for 60 minutes at around 65-70°C.

Prepare the Mash

After steeping, strain the mixture to collect the liquid (wort). Bring the wort to a boil and add the hops. Boil for 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.

After boiling, cool the wort quickly using an immersion chiller or an ice bath, until it reaches around 20°C.

Cool the Wort

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermentation vessel. Add the yeast and sugar, and seal with an airlock. Allow it to ferment in a dark, cool place for 1-2 weeks.

Fermentation

After fermentation, siphon the beer into sanitized bottles, leaving some space at the top. Cap the bottles and let them carbonate at room temperature for another 1-2 weeks.
