Preparation

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Start by cubing the steak into bite-sized pieces. Clean the cremini mushrooms with a damp cloth and slice them into halves or quarters, depending on their size. Mince the garlic cloves.

Cooking

2

Cook the Steak Bites

In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Once melted, add the cubed steak and season with salt and pepper to taste. Sear the steak bites for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

3

Sauté the Mushrooms and Garlic

In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the sliced cremini mushrooms and sauté for about 4-5 minutes until they are golden brown and tender. Then add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

4

Combine and Serve

Return the cooked steak bites to the skillet with the mushrooms and garlic. Toss everything together to combine and heat through for another minute. Serve the garlic butter steak bites hot, alongside toasted bread slices.
