Preparation Steps
Prepare the Beef Tenderloin
Trim any excess fat from the beef tenderloin. Wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and freeze for about 1 hour, or until firm. This will make it easier to slice thinly.
Slice the Beef
Using a sharp knife, slice the beef tenderloin as thinly as possible. Arrange the slices on a large serving platter, slightly overlapping them.
Add Toppings
Sprinkle the capers evenly over the beef slices. Crumble the bleu cheese and scatter it on top. Thinly slice the red onion and distribute it over the dish.
Season and Drizzle
Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over the entire dish. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Serve
Serve immediately as an appetizer or light main course. Enjoy with crusty bread or crackers.
