Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Steak

Remove the Certified Angus Beef Striploin from the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Season both sides generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

2

Cook the Steak

Heat a cast-iron skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Add olive oil to the skillet and once hot, place the seasoned striploin in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness.

3

Rest the Steak

Once cooked, remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

Serving

4

Plate the Dish

Slice the striploin against the grain if desired, and serve it on a plate with your choice of one side (such as mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, or Caesar salad) and one signature sauce (garlic butter, creamy mushroom, or peppercorn sauce).
